South Korea's fifth largest corporation, LG Group, will invest US$17.9 billion in the next ten years to develop green business strategies and reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 40% of its 2009 levels.

 

The LED lighting revolution is picking up more steam, as General Electric (NYSE:GE) has announced it has created an LED replacement for its 40-watt light bulb.

Voonami, Inc. has unveiled one of the most energy efficient data centers in the United States.

 

Voonami says its new giant data center will reduce energy costs by 80% compared to other data centers making it the greenest in the state of Utah, and one that will rival Google's most efficient data centers.

So, you want to buy an energy-efficient house? Terrific, but how do you know which house actually is the most energy efficient? This is one of the biggest obstacles to buying “green.”
