If there’s one thing that the state of Maine and the province of Nova Scotia share, it’s lots of coastline. So, in a positive demonstration of international renewable energy cooperation, the two governments will be working together to develop tidal energy and offshore wind power.

Things are looking “up” for Heritage Aviation. In fact, Heritage Aviation is the first general aviation facility in United States to include renewable energy.

When determining how to prioritize action using, by definition, limited resources, one criteria should be whether something is "win-win-win," offering benefits across multiple arenas for the same investment dollars. If one of those wins is 'paying for itself', then the prioritization should go even higher.

Governor John Baldacci of Maine understands wind energy partly because he’s traveled to Spain, Germany and Norway to learn about it, and partly because he has the listening ears of New England's movers and shakers.
