Fraunhofer Institute

Despite their lack of rainfall, desert's are highly humid, making them filled with moisture.  As a result, scientists at the Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology in Germany have designed a way to convert this humidity into drinking water using renewable technologies.
