Keystone XL Pipeline's Impact on America

The Keystone XL pipeline proposal has roiled America’s energy industry and environmental community. On the one hand, it could reduce U.S. dependence on oil imports from OPEC nations, but on the other hand, it could pollute some of the most environmentally sensitive areas of our country.

Anchor Thalia Assuras travels to Nebraska to hear from concerned landowners along the pipeline route, members of Congress with very different opinions about the proposal, and environmentalists who are so passionate about the issue they were willing to be arrested during protests outside the White House.
