Of course, a ton of this stuff has been used recently in the attempted clean up of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) has announced the results of a national survey of wind energy public attitudes.  The poll was conducted in late March by Anna Bennett and Neil Newhouse, partners respectively with Bennett, Petts & Normington and Public Opinion Strategies.  

Texas wind energy capacity is expected to reach the 10,000 megawatt (MW) mark sometime this year. 

Currently at 9,410 MW, Texas continues to widen its lead over other states.  But are a lack of transmission infrastructure and no clear signs of a federal energy bill putting a halt on Texas wind?

Those in the clean energy industry continue to play the waiting game in the policy arena.  The question remains as what type of, if any, energy and climate change legislation will be put into action in the US in 2010.
